Reverse Osmosis systems purify water by sending it through a series of specialized filters. The first couple are for basic sediment, then carbon and then onto the semi-permeable membrane. This highly specialized filter uses a process whereby water pressure is used to ‘pump’ the water through this specialized membrane.
