Reverse Osmosis Systems |
|
Reverse Osmosis systems purify water by sending it through a series of specialized filters. The first couple are for basic sediment, then carbon and then onto the semi-permeable membrane. This highly specialized filter uses a process whereby water pressure is used to ‘pump’ the water through this specialized membrane. The openings within this membrane are no larger than an individual water molecule thereby rejecting all other larger contaminants from passing through. The "bad stuff" is flushed away and only purified water is provided for use at your sink. This water is especially useful in cooking and beverage preparation like coffee or tea as it has no contaminants that can sometimes change the flavors. Bottle your own water and save our landfills from a growing mountain of discarded plastic bottles that end up there each year.

The majority of bottled water sold today is nothing more than municipal tap water. Financially these bottles cost ads up over time and can be shocking to realize the money we are spending on them. Health wise, beyond the lack of proper filtration, the plastic bottles leach harmful chemicals into the water we are consuming. And environmentally we are creating a glut of these empty bottles in our landfills. These bottles do not break down and will remain with us virtually forever. |
